I have lived in the Chippewa Valley for twenty plus years.  In that time I have watched the Chippewa Valley grow and develop into a truly beautiful four season wonderland.  My two particular favorite areas are the extensive trails/park systems and lakes throughout the Chippewa Valley.  I enjoy spending my summers with family and friends cruising the banks of Lake Tainter.

I met my husband (Peter) on the banks of Lake Menomin over twenty years ago.  We now own a home on Lake Tainter which we share with our two children, Victor (19), a senior  and Katie(17), a junior, both  at Menomonie High School.

Our household also consists of  four animal shelter adoptees: Ty a 13 year old chocolate lab who is deaf and thinks water only belongs in a bowl, Gillie an eight year old black lab/golden retriever mix who can't wait until the lake thaws to take her first swim.  Phat Cat a four old tabby who as his name dictates has ample padding but does not let that deter him from being quite the successful hunter, mice bats, chipmunks, moles beware! Finally there is Seymour Simon a six year old tabby who loves to play and cuddle with humans but is very willing to be an accomplice to any of Phat's hunting expeditions.

I spent my first ten years  traveling  throughout Western Wisconsin, Hudson to La Crosse, as a sales representative.  Traveling and working with the local businesses made me well aware of the economic growth and concerns,  as well as the opportunities and the various individual characteristics that make each town unique.  This experience will help me match your real estate dreams to the town that best fits your needs and expectations. 

The last ten years I have worked with my husband managing his sole practitioner law office in Menomonie.  During that time I have experienced real estate transactions   on the professional level by handling preparation of purchase and sale agreements, as well as the preparation of the required closing documents found in all real estate transactions and understand the importance of accuracy and follow through.  I have also experienced real estate from the consumer end through the sale and purchases of my personal homes as well as the construction of our office building. 

My involvement with the construction of  a commercial building involved working hand and hand with the builder from the very beginning, from selecting the perfect land, to designing the layout of the building.  I experienced first hand the procedure in working with local city government to change the local zoning laws from residential to commercial as well as obtaining waivers to the variances and set back requirements  to allow the land to best accommodate a business's needs. I developed and drafted the condo association by laws and rules.

This experience has lead to my greater appreciation of the behind the scenes work that is required on every real estate transaction to ensure that the purchasing of your home or business is  smooth and stress free as possible.   As your real estate agent I will ensure that these areas are handled and executed in a timely and accurate basis so your closing day goes smoothly.
